Review / Reccomendation Wednesday - Tv Shows - Korean Drama: You're Beautiful

Hello all you bloggers and non-bloggers out there!
Today I wish to Review and Recommend to you a Korean Drama that won the #1 place in my heart for dramas in six-teen one hour long episodes.

Lets get down to business shall we?

Now this show almost made me cry with its ending but please note I'm a soft hearted hopeless romantic, Don't go in with super high expectations watching this as you might not feel the same as me as we all have our own tastes our own thoughts our own opinions.

Now this Drama is a romantic comedy really I'll review each character, the story, the romance, the music, the rewatchability.

First off here we go

Story 8/10: Now a lot of shows have done this the whole gender-bend concept. The whole secret identity thing and living with a harem of girls or guys right? Well You're beautiful the way they do it brings something different to it. Its less of a boring same old same old and more of something fresh, maybe perhaps not brand new but very close even if its the same concept it is not the same story.

The story is of a girl Go Mi Nyeo a Nun whos brother is a musician, Something happens to her brother and his manager comes to her for help pleading to her to pose as Go Mi Nam and sign a contract. Unfortunately because of this she gets pulled into a different world, A world of fame, of screaming fan girls. She gets stuck rooming with the three band Members of A.N.Jell while trying to keep her secret until her brother gets back.

Characters 9/10:

Go Mi Nyeo: She is a pretty Meek character, shes clumsy and always getting into trouble. The guys usually end up bailing her out or scolding her or both. It makes things more entertaining but it can be irritating how clueless and clumsy she is in the show. I don't find her as a very strong character.

Jeremy: He is a fun loving, bubbly character he has a dog named Jolie and with him around you do find yourself laughing a lot in the show at his antics with Go Mi Nyeo. Hes an adorable character that will brighten your day. I feel Jeremy was a well acted character and was someone if real that would make a great friend.

Shin Woo: The actor for him is very hot I'm not gonna lie. Shin Woo is a character who is a very romantic, caring, sweet, thoughtful and Mature guy, When he gets sad however he does make a pretty heart breaking puppy face. Hes always looking out for Go Mi Nyeo and is very understanding. I feel Shin Woo as well was a well acted character and for all the Hopeless romantics out there if he was real would make a perfect boyfriend. So hopeless romantics if you are attracted to asians you most likely will fall for Shin Woo.

Hwang Tae Kyung: Oh god not him. Hwang Tae Kyung is a very Arrogant character and Leader of A.N.JELL. He does have a more soft sweet loving side but he hides everything he does or disguises it so no one knows he really cares for the sake of his pride. He really needs to get off his high horse.
He is a character who'll melt your heart with how sweet he can be one second and the next you wanna strangle him because hes back to being a jerk. You most likely will end up with mixed feelings however hes a well played character and the facial expressions the actor made fit well with his personality.

Overall I do think there was a good amount of character development, I can't say much in worry of spoiling things unfortunately. All I can say is I Truly believe all the characters were very well acted.

Music 10/10: I think the music fit the moods perfectly, sure it wasn't oh so amazing and all that jazz. It wasn't something that'd blow your mind but it was satisfying, it helped give you the feel of the scenes, it helped enhance the emotions. It was beautiful in its own way.

Romance 10/10: Oh do not even get me started or I shall never stop.. but oh too late. The romance in this show was that kind that makes you feel warm and fuzzy, the kind that'll make you cry out of happiness if you're sensitive, the kind of Romance you wish you had, the kind only someone who watched the show could truly understand. The characters do some pretty crazy things In my own opinion for the sake of love which is truly heart warming.

Rewatchibility 9/10: I don't think I could rewatch it my whole life over and over, however it has plenty rewatch value in my opinion. I'd think you could get a good 10-30 rewatches out of it before you have to take a break until you forget about it. Atleast for a normal person but.. I'm not normal so *grabs the show and runs off with it* see you all when I've watched it millions of times over and over.

My overall personal score is 9/10

I thoroughly enjoyed this series if your looking for something cute, light hearted that can keep you glued to your seat squeeling and wanting to cry in happiness this show IS for you. I don't regret watching it even in the slightest, If anything I wish I found it earlier because by now I could have watched it a couple more times.

I truly recommend it though it is not for everyone, I do know that however Its something that'll forever be close to my heart as the actors made the characters and story come to life.

Review / Reccomendation Wednesday - Games: Tomb Raider 2013

Hello all you bloggers and non-bloggers, all you tomb raider fanatics and non-tomb raider fanatics.
I am sure you all have heard by now of the tomb raider reboot from 2013 right? If you haven't played it or heard of it maybe I can help you in a decision of buying it or not. If you already have bought and played it perhaps you'll understand where I'm coming from.

Now lets get down to Business.

Lara croft has been a strong female video game icon for a long time. Shes been played by Angelina Jolie in movies, shes had many many games such as: Anniversary, Underworld, Legend, and Angel of darkness. Now, put her in a setting of survival when she wasn't as tough and sassy as she was in the other ones, Put her in her past where she goes through the horrors of an island with people who have nothing against killing her. Try your hardest to escape with Lara's group. let me tell you what I thought with all this.

Story: 8/10
The story itself was pretty interesting but personally I didn't find it extremely strong. I give it a 8.
Thing is stranded on an island has already been done before, fighting for your lifes already been done before, But there is some interesting parts I honestly can say I did not expect, I won't say them for I do not wish to spoil it.

Art / Animation: 9/10 The island is beautiful, well for the most part when you get past the skulls, dead bodies, wolves, violent islanders and blood. It honestly is a beautiful game, just take a look at some of these screenshots. Sure maybe things aren't bright, colorful and cheery all the time in it, however in its own way it is truly beautiful.

Music: ? / ? I'm Afraid I've never played with Music enabled, I'm not even sure if there is any music. I like to listen to my own when gaming so sorry I can't give a rating for that.

Characters: 6.5/10 Some of the characters seemed weak in personality in my opinion (Especially Sam) I did however enjoy the relationship between Lara and Roth, They were so close in the game, It was honestly heart warming. I do like how Lara's personality Developed in the game, you could see her mentally getting stronger, you could see the determination to save her friends, her bravery, her loyalty. I don't know about you guys but I got attatched to Lara even more playing Tomb Raider 2013. I however only give it a 6.5 on characters, its only somewhat above average In my own personal opinion.

Single Player Gameplay: 8/10 I didn't run into many bugs when in single player, it ran smoothly. There was quite a lot to do, There was many achievements, many items to collect, it was pretty open world so there was a lot to explore. There is upgrading your Weapons in the game along with skills. You should be able to get everything in skills / weapon Upgrades by the looks of it. (I never did the very last battle. other than that I did complete it all, I also did watch people play the boss battle)

Enemies: 5 / 10 Sometimes the Enemies bugged out and acted stupid, I had one practically throw himself off a cliff. Sometimes theres too many at once and it can be overwhelming.

Puzzles: 5 / 10 The puzzles were pretty Meh, there wasn't enough and the few there was, were pretty easy.

Multi Player Gameplay: 3/10 Buggy, oh so buggy. I tried to play with my sibling and he kept crashing all the time. I crashed often as well it made it practically impossible to play with my sibling.

DLC: 6.5 / 10 The DLC was pretty nice, however for single player it practically was 90% outfits / skins. Personally I love customization so that had actually been very nice to have. The Tomb of the Lost Adventurer was a pretty nice Tomb. There is however a really terrible bug for that DLC. Controls: 7 / 10 I was pretty happy to see most the controls seem to be similar to the other tomb raider games. They worked fine, I had no problems with them.

Enjoyment: 8 / 10 I got quite a lot of value out of just this one game. I loved it.

Overall personal Score: 7.3 / 10

Relationships - Am I In Love?

We all have that one question when we meet someone and our heart does flip flops "Am I in Love?"

Now I can't answer that for you, only you can answer that. Love to each person can feel different.
Some people I've known their love felt plain and simple.

Me? My love for my boyfriend feels like a thousand fireworks in my heart when I see him, My mind feels fogged up and airy when I think of him. I almost always think of him, I also am sure hes my soulmate. I can say with confidence I truly love my boyfriend.

If you have trouble saying that to yourself, think of how you feel when you say it. Are you... doubtful? If you're doubtful give yourself some time, keep searching yourself for how you feel.
Does your heart flutter perhaps? or something else that feels weird but good? Do you feel embarrassed? If so, then you either have a crush, are a very shy person or are in love.

Listen, love is not something to rush. It'll happen give it time. Keep your ears, eyes and heart open to suitors. Always be on guard in the start however make sure you find out more about the person so you know they aren't a killer or something else.

For some people, love might scare you for awhile. I've been with my boyfriend for about 8-10 months by now and I'm still scared of love. It is frightening to feel strongly for someone because they could easily walk away from you without a second thought. Do not let that deter you however from finding love. There will be some heartbreaks or bad relationships, however someday you will find the one who is right for you and will love you wholeheartedly. Don't give up, don't lose hope.
